Rate Distortion Theory Workshop

In this workshop we will use VQ-Probe by ViCue Soft that allows you to analyze video quality, and provides a convenient way to compare two videos side-by-side in a split window and to compare source and encoded videos, as well as displaying video quality metrics.

We will follow this article that allows us to produce RD curves that as we have learned are indispensable for the video streaming optimization.
